Jammu & Kashmir: 18 Police Personnel And Forest Official Injured After Locals Attack Them
Srinagar: 18 personnel of police & forest department officials were injured after they were attacked during an anti-encroachment drive in Batote, Ramban in Jammu and Kashmir. DFO Kuldeep Singh says, “Some anti-social elements along with the encroachers attacked our team & pelted stones.”

During an anti-encroachment drive in Ramban
some anti-social elements along with encroachers attacked the joint team of J&K Police and forest department and pelted stones at them in Batote region of the district. An FIR has been lodged in connection with the incident, said DFO Kuldeep Singh.
The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
