Jalgaon: Man comes out of jail on bail; murdered

 

 

Jalgaon: A 19-year-old youth was found murdered in the premises of Jhalke Mill in Shahu Nagar at 9.30 pm on Sunday. The Police have arrested one suspect in this regard.

 

The deceased Sheikh Altamas Sheikh Shakeel alias Satya was released on bail after he stabbed a shop owner who refused to give him a cigarette.

 

Superintendent of Police Dr. Praveen Mundhe, Additional Superintendent of Police Chandrakant Gawli, Assistant Superintendent of Police Kumar Chintha and Inspector of Police Dhananjay Yerule rushed to the spot and inquired about the incident. Police after preliminary investigation said that the murder looked like a case of revenge for stabbing the shop owner that happened 10-12 days ago.

 

According to sources, the deceased was found dead in the dilapidated room of Jhalke Mill in Shahu town. Upon receiving the information, Satya’s cousin Aihteshyam Mushtaq Sheikh shifted him to a district hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors. According to reports, he was hit with a piece of flooring in the head.

 

Ten to twelve days ago, Satya had stabbed Mujahid Sheikh Ibrahim (21) in Shahu, who had refused to open his shop and give him a cigarette. Satya was arrested in this case. The court recently granted him bail. Ahitheshyam Mushtaq Sheikh, informed the Police that some people had come to his house three days ago and threatened Satya. Police have arrested one person on suspicion.
