Jagannath Shinde reelected as president of Maharashtra State Chemist Association

Mumbai : The executive and general meeting of The Maharashtra State Chemist and Druggist Association was held recently. The election results for the period 2020 to 2023 were announced by Dilip Kadam. President Jagannath Shinde Appasaheb and Secretary Anil Bhau Navander were elected unopposed.
An online meeting of the State Chemists Association was held on the background of Covid 19 as per the instructions of the administration. The union’s election program was announced earlier. Dilip Kadam and Sunil Bhai Chhajed handled the work. The names were announced at today’s general meeting as only one application was received for each seat. President Jagannath Shinde Kalyan, Vice President Mukund Dubey Chandrapur, Arun Barakse Beed, Secretary Anil Navdar Khamgaon, Joint Secretary Prasad Danve Mumbai, Treasurer Vaijnath Jagushte Ratnagiri, Union Secretary Madan Patil Kolhapur and Ajit Parekh as PRO were announced.
Earlier in today’s executive meeting, strong sentiments were expressed against online pharmacy. It was also hoped that the government would take note of the work done by the chemist under Covid19 pandemic situation. Consideration was also given to distributing the corona vaccine through all chemists. Jagannath Shinde said that if the online pharmacy is not banned immediately, different policies will be adopted in the future. The Secretary’s report of the last three years was presented by Anil Navdar. Vote of thanks was given by Arun Barakse.
