IT Notice To Sharad Pawar-Uddhav Thackeray On Election Affidavit Amid Political Upheaval

Mumbai : The fight between the government and the opposition continues in Parliament. Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress (NCP) chief and former Union Minister Sharad Pawar has received notice from the Income Tax Department. This notice has been sent for the affidavit of last election.

Not only Sharad Pawar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Minister Aditya Thackeray, NCP leader Supriya Sule have also been sent notices by the Income Tax Department. When Sharad Pawar was asked about this notice, on Tuesday, he said that those people (who sent the notice) love few people a lot.

Situation of tension between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Government of Maharashtra has been going on for a long time. Meanwhile, the matter of this notice has come up. It is being told that through this notice from the Income Tax Department, information about the affidavits filed in the last few elections has been sought.

Not only this, the agriculture bill is constantly being opposed by Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena. Also, on the issue of suspension of Rajya Sabha MPs, on Tuesday, the former Union Minister announced one day’s fasting. The news of the notice has come in the midst of this whole political development.
