“Public platforms are the place where one can express their opinions and views and we must know that if it’s a public platform like Social Media, it is natural to get trolled. I choose to ignore trolls. We should consider taking the help of cyber laws which are already in place to tackle trolls that are laden with threats and abusive language for women,” expressed Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Fadnavis said, “I make a post on Social Media and forget about it. I don’t look back to check on trolls but take a note of positive criticism whenever needed. It is about endurance. You have to change your mentality about trolls so that it affects you the least.”

“It is terrible to know that the atrocities against little girls are increasing. It boils the blood inside me. Stringent punishments must be given to the culprits for committing such heinous crime. We empowered women must come forward to support other women. It is through education and value system that we can change the scenario. Women must stand for woman,” stated Fadnavis.

When asked about criticism faced by CM, she promptly replied, “I generally advise him to take appropriate action for constructive criticism. He usually tries to give solution by inclusive discussion.”

Fadnavis was questioned for breaking the stereotypes of wives of earlier CMs of the state, to which she modestly replied, “Fashion is not only about beauty but is also about personality and self-confidence. At the same time, you should also take care that your cloths are not overpowering your confidence.” She also mentioned that most of the outfit she wears to the events are usually designed by the students of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) a small contribution towards inspiring the budding designers.
