ISI Wanted to Prove Kasab a ‘Hindu’ Terrorist of 26/11 Attack, Read What Was Their Plan

New Delhi: Former Commissioner of Mumbai Police Rakesh Maria has made sensational revelations in his autobiography on 26 November 2008 terror attack in Mumbai. According to Maria, the Pakistani intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (IS) had conspired to make the 26/11 attack a form of Hindu terrorism. The terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) supported the ISI. For this, the ISI sent all 10 attackers, including Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, to Mumbai by making them Hindu with fake eye cards.

Of these 10 attackers, only Kasab could be caught alive. The police also got a fake i-card of some Sameer Dinesh Chaudhary, who lives in Bengaluru, from him. To look Hindu, Kasab also tied Kalawa (Holy Thread) on the wrist of his right hand. Kalawa can be seen in Kasab’s photo released by the police.

In his book ‘Let Me Say It Now’, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria has claimed that the terrorist organizations wanted the 26/11 attack to be a symbol of Hindu terrorism. After receiving the card of Hindu boy from Kasab, several TV channels also had coverage in Bengaluru according to the address given in that icard. There were also reports that fake i-cards of Arunoday College, Hyderabad were found from the attacker. However, all these reports were rejected. Ajmal Kasab was from Faridkot, Pakistan.

Rakesh Maria wrote in his book that Ajmal Kasab used to think strangely about the Muslims of India. He believed that Muslims are not allowed to offer Namaz in India and mosques are locked. But, when he offered the prayers for five times in the lockup, he was surprised. This was something outside his imagination.

Maria further says, “When I came to know about this thinking of Kasab, I instructed the Investigating Officer Ramesh Mahale to take Kasab to the mosque near the metro cinema.” Seeing the view there, Kasab was shocked. People were offering Namaz peacefully.

Kasab joined Lashkar for looting

Rakesh Maria said, ‘Ajmal Kasab had earlier joined Lashkar-e-Taiba only for looting. He had nothing to do with Jihad. He further says, ‘Ajmal Kasab and his friend Muzaffar Lal Khan wanted to loot in order to improve their financial condition. Therefore, he wanted to take training in arms and operating weapons.

Rakesh Maria wrote in his book, ‘Keeping the enemy (Kasab) alive was my first priority. The anger of the people against this terrorist was at its peak. Officers of Mumbai Police Department were also angry. Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba were in search of an opportunity to kill Kasab as he was the biggest and only evidence of the Mumbai attack.’

On 26 November 2008, 10 terrorists attacked three places in Mumbai. 166 people were killed and hundreds were injured in these attacks. Out of these 10 attackers, only one Ajmal Kasab was caught alive. Kasab was hanged in Yerwada jail in Pune on 21 November 2012.
