He was speaking at the closing ceremony of the Indrayani Thadi Jatra organized by Shivanjali Sakhi Manch at Gavjatra Ground in Bhosari. MP Shrirang Barane, MLA Mahesh Landge, Bharat Gogawle, Sanjay Shirasath, former Minister Bala Bhegde and others were present on the occasion.
Stating that the Indrayani Thadi Jatra is grand celebration and brings joy to thousands at the same time, the Chief Minister said, “This is an initiative to carry forward the culture and traditions of India.” A Magnificent platform has been provided for people of various age groups and fields. On this occasion, eight hundred women self-help groups have got employment opportunities through 1000 stalls. Women’s self-help groups and small businessmen get a market through such festivals and thus big entrepreneurs are created out of it. Therefore, organizing such a festival is the need of the hour, Shri Shinde said.
It is a government that gives justice to the common people and this is a progressive government. This is the reason why various celebrations have started after the government lifted the restrictions after Covid. The government is working to provide justice to the aspirations of the common people. He also said that decisions have been taken for all the sections of the society in a period of six months. The Chief Minister congratulated MLA Landge for the good planning.
MLA Landge and Vikas Dolas also expressed their thoughts on the occasion. On this occasion, the Chief Minister felicitated those who achieved success in various fields.
