India’s Best Dancer 2 | Puneite Saumya Kamble wins ‘India’s Best Dancer’ title

Pune : NpNews24 Online – The grand finale of India’s Best Dancer Season 2 was held on Sony TV recently. The audience’s response was overwhelming to the show. In all, five contestants reached the grand finale. Puneite Saumya Kamble won the India’s Best Dancer title.

 

Gaurav Sarvan was the first runner-up. The other three participants were Zamroodh, Roza Rana, Raktim Thaturia. There was a tough competition among them. Their performances were excellent in the finale.

 

Among the jury were Malaika Arora, Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor. Saumya got a cash award of Rs 15 lakh and a luxury car. Saumya’s trainer choreographer Vartika Jha was also honoured. She got a cheque for Rs 5 lakh. Vartika had trained Tiger Pop in the first season. He also won the trophy. Thus, this is her second successive win as a choreographer.

 

Gaurav Sarvan from Jaipur was the first runner-up while Odisha’s Roza Rana was the second runner-up. All five contestant in the finale got Rs 1 lakh cash reward.

 

Saumya won the jury’s heart by presenting free-style and belly dance throughout the competition. Expressing her happiness over the win, she said, “I have done hard work to see this day. My joy knows no bounds after winning the trophy.” Saumya’s father wanted her to pursue a career in medical sciences.
