Ind vs Eng: Ishan Kishan created history in his debut match, included in Rahane’s club

Ishan Kishan has made a great debut in international cricket. He has scored a half-century in his very first T20 match. Ishan Kishan got a chance to play in the second match of the T20 series against England. He was dismissed for 56 runs off 32 balls. He hit 4 sixes and 5 fours. He completed his half-century with a six-off Adil Rashid.

Ishan Kishan made history in his first T20 match. Ishan is the second Indian to score a half-century in a debut T20 match. Ajinkya Rahane has achieved this feat before him. Rahane scored 61 runs in the Manchester T20 in 2011 against England.

He got to his maiden half-century off just 28 balls with back-to-back sixes off leg-spinner Adil Rashid. Kishan’s entertaining 56-run knock came to an abrupt end when he was trapped right in front of the stumps by Rashid in the 10th over

Ishan plays for Jharkhand in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in IPL. He has also played for Gujarat Lions in IPL. He also did well in this season’s Vijay Hazare Trophy. Ishan has scored 1211 runs in 51 matches of IPL. During this time his highest score has been 99 runs and he has scored 7 half-centuries.

He was also the captain of the Indian team in 2016 Under-19 World Cup. However, India had to face defeat at the hands of the West Indies in the final of that World Cup.
