IMD predicts rainfall, thunderstorms in Maharashtra from March 18 to 20

Pune: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday has predicted rainfall along with thunderstorms in the state from March 18 to 20. The IMD has predicted that the city will remain partly cloudy for the next two days.  According to the IMD, Pune recorded a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 16.3 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of interactivity caused by steamy winds coming from the Arabian Sea and south-to-south winds has the potential to creat a rain friendly condition in the state. Central Maharashtra, Marathwada will receive thunderstorms while some places in Vidarbha will receive hail storms.
