I Phone downfall continues, cuts production of all three new phone

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Apple a phone company which is known as the world’s most popular and costliest smartphone, is going through a rough patch. A lower-than-expected demand for the new iPhones and Apple’s decision to offer more models have made it difficult to anticipate the number of components and handsets the company needs. Thus, Apple has reduced production orders in recent weeks for all three 2018 iPhone models, a report said Monday.

The iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, unveiled in September, didn’t sell as well right off the bat as analysts expected, and Apple cast doubt about sales volumes for the current quarter as well.

Major iPhone suppliers Qorvo, Lumentum Holdings, and Japan Display last week cut their quarterly profit estimates, citing an order reduction from a large customer, and as it turns out, Apple accounts for one-third to one-half of the revenue for those companies, the Journal notes.

Forecasts have been particularly problematic for iPhone XR with Apple cutting its production plan by up to a third of the nearly 70 million units some suppliers had been asked to produce between September and February. As recently as last week, Apple informed several suppliers that it had lowered its production plan again for iPhone XR.

It looks like this bad patch of iPhone has been extended to much recently apple phones were banned from Facebook as a result of the spat between the two giant company’s CEO. Facebook’s CEO made it compulsory for every Facebook employee that they must use the android phone and not iPhone.

“We’re not going to traffic in your personal life. Privacy to us is a human right, It’s a civil liberty.”
This statement was the reason behind the ban.
