Hemant Birje | ‘Bollywood Tarzan’ Hemant Birje, wife hurt in e-way accident

Pune : NpNews24 Online – ‘Bollywood Tarzan’ Hemant Birje and his wife were injured in an accident on Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Tuesday night. Birje became famous overnight in 1985 when his movie ‘Adventures of Tarzan’ was released. Since then he is known by the nickname ‘Tarzan’ in the Hindi film industry.

According to the police, Birje, his wife and daughter were travelling in a car. Their car hit the median at the Urse toll plaza at around 8 pm on Tuesday. Birje and wife received minor injuries in the accident. His daughter was unhurt. Both were admitted to the Pawana Hospital.

The Talegaon police are investigating further.
