Gujarat: Only 14 ventilators vacant in Ahmedabad, Situation critical
Ahmedabad: The number of new corona cases and deaths in Ahmedabad has been steadily rising. The beds in the city’s private hospitals are full. In Ahmedabad now only 14 ventilators are vacant.
The number of active cases in the West Zone, North-West Zone and South-West Zone is 1430, while there are 1309 active cases in the central zone, north zone, south zone and east zone of the eastern belt. Out of 3182 beds in private hospitals, 2845 beds are filled. A total of 1994 patients died during treatment of corona in Ahmedabad. While more than 41 thousand people have recovered.
Notably, 1564 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the last 24 hours in the state. While 16 more people died due to the transition. At the same time the total death toll from Corona has reached 3969.

There are currently 14889 active cases in the state, while a total of 189420 people have been discharged so far. The state currently has 86 patients on ventilator and 14803 people are stable. The total number of infected people in the state has reached 208278.
A total of 1451 patients were cured and 68,960 were tested in the state today. With this, 77,59,739 tests have been conducted in the state so far. The recovery rate in the state is 90.95 per cent.
