Google to set up office in Pune, jobs on offer

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Google has decided to expand its operations in India. Hence, it will recruit freshers and professionals in its India team. The company will soon set up its office in Pune.

This was announced by the company on Monday. It will appoint Cloud Technology experts. The Google Pune office will start functioning from the second half of this year. Cloud production engineers, technical assistants and personnel for its Global Distribution Centre will be recruited. Professionals in Cloud Computing will get opportunities in this office.

Major recruitments are being undertaken by Google in Gurugram, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Now, the company is focusing on Pune.

A statement released by Google stated: “Pune is an IT hub, where our expansion will enable us to utilise high talent as we are developing advanced Cloud Computing solutions, products and services for our growing clientele.”

The company last year appointed Subram Natarajan as the Director of Customer Engineering in India. He previously worked as the Chief Technology Officer in IBM India. Google Cloud India launched its second Cloud Area in India. The company started this to provide services near government quarters to businesses in all categories, particularly for public services in Delhi NCR.
