Gangster Gajanan Marne allege bribery charge against Yerwada jail superintendent

Pune : Np News Network – A judicial magistrate court on Monday issued notice to Yerwada Central Jail superintendent UT Pawar, on allegations made by gangster Gajanan Marne.

Marne, who is lodged in the jail in a murder case, alleged that the jail officials are not producing him before the court on hearing dates and also not providing facilities of prisoner, as he has not paid bribe money and gifts to the jail superintendent and other officials.

On Monday Marne submitted the application through his lawyer Vijaysinh Thombre. The judge issued showcause notice to Pawar seeking his written reply on the issue.

According to Marne’s application, the jail officials are not producing him before the court on dates and as they are getting hefty amount to keep him side the jail.

Meanwhile, Pawar has denied the allegations and said that he will file his written statement before the court.
