Fourth S Balan T20 Interclub Cricket 2023 competition: MES Cricket Club and Hedges and Sachs teams defeat their opponents
Pune : NpNews24 Online – S. Balan Cup T20 League | MES Cricket Club and Hedges and Sachs teams defeated their opponents in the fourth S Balan T20 Interclub Cricket 2023 competition organised by the Punit Balan Group. (S. Balan Cup T20 League)
The competition is being held at Shinde High School ground at Sahakar Nagar. The MES Cricket Club defeated Kings Sports Club by 71 runs on the basis of a century by Advay Sidhaye. MES Cricket Club made a score of 219 runs in 18 overs thanks to 108 runs scored by Advay Sidhaye and Captain Jai Pande’s 59 runs. Jai and Advay had a partnership of 122 runs in 70 balls. For the third wicket, Advay and Varun had a partnership of 91 runs in 33 balls. Kings Sports Club could score only 148 runs in comparison.
Based on the all round performance of Aditya Rawat, the Hedges and Sachs defeated Global Warriors Cricket Club by 56 runs. Hedges and Sachs team batted first and scored 185 runs. Among the main run getters were Aditya Rawat (47), Nilesh Dhage (44), Mushtaq Shaikh (35) and Chaitanya Patil (33). The Global Warriors Cricket Club could score only 129 runs. Prasanna Vartak (3-19) and Aditya Rawat (2-11) bowled well to bring victory for the team.
