Four women rescued from sex racket in Moshi

Officials from the social security cell (SSC) of Pune city police Crime Branch have rescued four women from prostitution racket in Moshi. A woman agent and hotel manager has been arrested.

Acting on a tip-off, the Crime Branch team raided Hotel Zanzir on Tuesday evening. The arrested agent has been identified Fulthushi Mushid Shaikh Khatoon of Moshi and manager Mohan Madhav Shinde.

After getting information, police had sent a decoy customer to verify the prostitution racket and then arrested the accused persons and rescued the four women.

The action was taken under guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Pradip Deshpande, DCP Pankaj Dahane and ACP Bhanupratap Barge.
