The dead include a father and son duo and the son’s uncle.
The deceased have been identified as Prakash Sopal Atole, Pravin Bhanudas Atole, Bhanudas Anandrao Atole and Bapurao Lahuji Gavhane. The incident took place at Atolevasti near 22 phata in Khandaj village on Wednesday at 11.30 am. According to preliminary reports, the four died after falling into a gobar gas plant and another person is in a serious condition.
The four had been admitted to Silver Jubilee Sub District Hospital but the doctors declared them dead on arrival. A person who was in a serious condition was admitted to a private hospital. The family members and relatives of the deceased have gathered near the hospital. The police have also reached the spot.
