Former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit Passes away at age 81

NPnews24 Online News Delhi: Long time serving chief minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit passes away at the age of 81 years.

She was also the member of congress working committee.She  also represented Kannauj Parliamentary constituency of Uttar Pradesh. She also served as the Estimate committee of Lok sabha. In 1988 she defeated by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Lal Bihari Tiwari in East Delhi constituency.

She was not well from past few days. Sheila married to vinod Dikshit and son of Independence activist and former West Bengal Governor Uma Shankar Dikshit.

She was also sworn as the Governor of the kerala on March 11 2014. Sheila defeated in New Delhi constituency by Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal.
