FIR filed against builder, two others at Chandan Nagar police station for cheating banks of Rs 1.5 cr

Pune : NpNews24 OnlinePune Crime | An incident where three loans totalling Rs 1.5 crore were taken from different banks for the same flat by submitting fake documents has come to light. The Chandan Nagar police have filed an offence against Girish Ramchandra Kamat, Pallavi Girish Kamat and Partner of Orange Landmark Avinash Dattatraya Bhadarke. (Pune Crime)

 

Uday Valvekar (57), a resident of Viman Nagar has filed a complaint at the Chandan Nagar police station.

 

According to the police, Girish Kamat had applied for a loan to the State Bank of India for flat number 301 in Orange Landmark building in Wadgaon Sheri. The bank approved a loan of Rs 54 lakh.

 

During checking, it came to light that Girish Kamat with the connivance of Avinash Bhadarke, partner of Orange Landmark had taken a loan of Rs 49 lakh from South Indian Bank, Viman Nagar branch and a loan of Rs 54 lakh from Bank of Maharashtra’s Indrayani Nagar, Bhosari branch i.e. totally Rs 1 crore and 57 lakh and cheated the banks and hence, a case has been filed against him.
