FIR against many RJD leaders including Tejaswi-Tej Pratap

Patna : Police have lodged an FIR in the Kotwali police station against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and several others, including Tej Pratap Yadav, for violent demonstrations in Patna on the issue of unemployment, rising inflation and law and order.

Under the leadership of Tejaswi and Tej Pratap, the RJD organized an assembly siege to surround the Nitish government on Tuesday. Meanwhile, RJD workers were stopped by the administration and police at Dak Bungalow intersection.

Meanwhile, there was a violent clash between the RJD workers and the police, in which many people got hurt. Patna Police first used a water cannon to get control over the RJD cadres, in response to which the RJD activists threw stones at the police. In retaliation, the police had to lathi charge on RJD workers.

Other RJD leaders and activists, including Tejaswi and Tej Pratap, are alleged to have attacked policemen and officials on duty and protested despite not getting permission from the district administration. An FIR has been registered under various sections for causing damage to government property during demonstrations.

A case has been registered against hundreds of RJD workers including Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, MLA Tej Pratap Yadav, party state president Jagdanand Singh, national vice-president Shyam Rajak, former minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui, MLAs Reetlal Yadav, Nirbhay Ambedkar, Azad Gandhi, Mahtab Alam, Prem Gupta, former MLA Rajendra Yadav, former minister Ramai Ram, former MLA Shakti Yadav, Youth Wing state president Kari Suhaib, including former Union ministers Kanti Singh, Archana Yadav.

The Special Armed Police Bill has passed in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The Chief Minister counted the goodness of the bill, but before that there was a lot of uproar in the House. There was a clash between the opposition MLAs and the security forces. It was told that while passing the motion in the House, the Opposition MLA reached the chair of the Speaker and tried to pull the bill from the Speaker’s hand. The DM and SSP of Patna had to gather to remove the Speaker from the Chamber.
