Federation of Traders Associations | Maharashtra Governor attends Foundation Day of Federation of Traders Associations

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the 45th Foundation Day of the Federation of Associations of Maharashtra (FAM), the apex organisation representing various trade associations across Maharashtra at Birla Matushri Sabhagar in Mumbai on Thursday (25 May).

Speaking on the occasion the Governor stressed the need to improve the Ease of Doing Business at the local level. He called upon the organisation of traders to encourage more women to assume leadership roles in trading bodies.

Minister of Tourism, Women and Child Welfare and Skills Mangal Prabhat Lodha said he will hear the grievances of the traders associations once in a month and try to resolve them.

President of FAM Jitendra Shah, Director General Pritesh Shah, Chairman Emeritus Vinesh Mehta, Senior Vice Presidents Ashish Mehta and Rajesh Shah and representatives of traders organisations were present.

The Governor released the Flag, Souvenir and FAM anthem on the occasion. A dance drama depicting the policy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj towards traders was shown on the occasion.
