Ekanth Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis are angry with me, says Congress MLA Ravindra Dhangekar

PUNE : NpNews24 Online  – MLA Ravindra Dhangekar | In the recently held assembly bypoll for Kasba Peth constituency, Congress candidate Ravindra Dhangekar emerged the winner by defeating the BJP candidate. His victory was seen as a big challenge to the BJP. However, Dhangekar is in the limelight once again When asked about his reaction to a statement made by Ajit Pawar, he said that he would like to be a CM. Now, in an interview given to a TV channel, he has taunted BJP MLA Chandrakant Patil. (MLA Ravindra Dhangekar)

Dhangekar had made a statement that he would also like to be a CM when he had gone to Solapur to attend the inauguration of Congress office in Solapur. Many journalists were present there. I was asked a question about Ajit Pawar’s statement. I replied, “Ajit Pawar is our leader and is a leader of Maharashtra. Apart from him, I also want to become the CM of Maharashtra. Everyone wants to be a CM. I did not say anything beyond this.”

There is a talk about Ravindra Dhangekar being considered as the candidate to contest the Lok Sabha bypoll. Reacting to it, he said, “MVA leaders will take a decision and I cannot say anything. I will have to work to ensure the victory of the candidate chosen by the party.”

Dhangekar also took potshots at MLA Chandrakant Patil. “Chandrakant Patil is a guest. He is again going to visit Kolhapur before this election. He has no connection with Pune. Puneites have decided that for how many days they are going to host him and BJP has also decided,” he said.

“Some people in BJP don’t like him. Along with me, many people in BJP are ready to send him from here. Patil does not have nay connection with Pune. He came to Pune two years ago and wants to lead Pune. This leader has been forced upon them by the central leadership of BJP. Puneites will decide for low long they will bear with him,” he said.
“The CM and deputy CM have not met me. They hate me very much because thy had to face defeat even after spending so much money. Puneites sent them back. It was not possible for them to digest a political defeat and they are yet to come out of it,” he added.
