Dr. Shriram Lagoo, a veteran actor passes away, last rituals performed today

Pune: npnews24 Online – Senior actor Dr Shriram Lagoo  last rituals were performed today  Vaikunth crematorium in Pune today. Celebrities from the drama and film industry were present at the location.

Dr. Lagoo passed away due to age. His body was kept in the mortuary of a private hospital. On Friday morning, his body was first taken to his residence in Karvenagar. Then at 10 am, his body was brought to the Balagandharva Rang Mandir complex. At that time, his wife, Dr. Deepa Lagoo, son Dr. Family members were present, including Anand Lagoo, Bhai Vijay Lagoo. Minister of Cultural Affairs and Political Affairs Subhash Desai on behalf of the state government.

A floral tribute was paid to the legendary actor,  Pune MP Girish Bapat, Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, senior social worker Dr. Baba Adhav, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray, senior actor Amol Palekar, Nana Patekar actress Urmila Matondkar, activists of the progressive thought movement, and hundreds of people from the field of drama, film, literature were present to pay tribute to this legendary actor.

Police at Balgandharva Rang Mandir complex gave salute.  After that the final journey to the cemetery was taken out. Even in the crematorium, the police fired three galleys in the air with a gun. After that, funerals were performed. The legendary actor passes away but will be always remembered for his work and will keep inspiring the coming generations.
