‘Doors Are Open For Sachin Pilot, Come & Let’s Talk’, Randeep Surjewala Amidst Political Crisis

Jaipur : The political crisis in Rajasthan is deepening. Amid claims of 30 MLAs leaving along with angry Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, top Congress leaders say that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s government here is completely safe. Rajasthan Congress President Avinash Pandey said that the Gehlot government is completely safe and 109 MLAs have submitted letters of support to them. Today the Congress Legislature Party is also going to meet, in which a whip has been issued to all the MLAs to join. Meanwhile, there are also discussions that Sachin Pilot may go to BJP. There is also a discussion of meeting BJP President JP Nadda in Delhi today.

Randeep Surjewala, sent by the central leadership to Jaipur, said that the Congress has spoken to Sachin Pilot several times in the last 48 hours. Doors are open for Sachin Pilot, he can come and talk. The Rajasthan government will work to serve the public. We appeal to all the MLAs and leaders to attend the meeting of the Legislature Party and work to strengthen the Congress government.

Randeep Surjewala said that ideological differences sometimes arise, but it is not right to weaken our own government. If there are any differences, then we will find a solution under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. It is not right to weaken the government through personal competition. The Congress leader alleged that every time investigative agencies are put forward by the BJP, since this morning, attempts are being made to intimidate Congress colleagues by conducting raids in this manner.

A search operation is being carried out in several places including the State Income Tax Department Kota, Jaipur, amidst the political tussle in Rajasthan. This action is being done in case of tax evasion. In Rajasthan, raids are being conducted at various places including the office and residence of Congress leader Dharmendra Rathore and Rajiv Arora, a member of the state Congress office. Raids are also being conducted at Hotel Fairmount, where party MLAs were to be held after a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party.

A meeting of the Congress Legislature Party has started at Ashok Gehlot’s residence. More than 90 MLAs are said to be involved in this. The Congress in-charge of Rajasthan affairs, Avinash Pandey, had earlier spoken of the support of 109 MLAs to the Gehlot government.

In the midst of the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan, PL Punia, in charge of Chhattisgarh Congress, said that Sachin Pilot is now in BJP. His statement came at a time when Sachin Pilot is in Delhi and his meeting with BJP President JP Nadda was also being discussed, amid resentment from the Gehlot government. However, he later tweeted that he was referring to Jyotiraditya Scindia and mistakenly took the name of Sachin Pilot.
