Diwali 2020: Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar appeals to citizens to follow Covid19 guidelines

Mumbai : Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has wished the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali. “May this Diwali bring happiness, excitement, prosperity and good health in the lives of all”, he wished.
“Let’s celebrate this year’s Diwali with strict adherence to the Corona Guidelines, help the poor, weak, deprived and neglected people around us and make them happy and keep the tradition of Diwali,” the Deputy Chief Minister appealed.
“Diwali is a festival of lights. Let’s try to remove the darkness of ignorance, superstition, undesirable customs and traditions from our lives, just like the light of lamps in the house on the occasion of Diwali. Our state is currently struggling with the Corona crisis. If we want to win this battle soon, then everyone should follow the rules of corona prevention,” said Ajit Pawar in his Diwali wishes.
“Everyone should contribute to keeping themselves, family and society safe by taking precautions like wearing masks, avoiding crowds, washing hands frequently. Special care should be taken to ensure that corona and pollution do not increase during Diwali,” the Deputy Chief Minister appealed.
