Delhi violence: Tahir Hussain Arrested in IB officer Ankit Sharma Murder Case

New Delhi : npnew 24 : Intelligence Bureau officer Ankit Sharma was killed during the riots in the north-eastern district. Now, Tahir Hussain, who was expelled from the Aam Aadmi Party, has been arrested on Monday. Tahir Hussain has been taken on a four-day police remand after his arrest. Tahir Hussain was earlier arrested in the riots case, now he has also been arrested and taken on remand in Ankit Sharma murder case. Apart from this, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has already filed a money laundering case against Delhi violence accused Tahir Hussain.

The Delhi Police SIT has so far detained more than 3400 people in the violence in North East Delhi district last month, while 55 people have been arrested under the Arms Act. According to Delhi Police, the death toll in the violence has reached 52. This information was received late Saturday night in an authorized statement issued by Delhi Police Headquarters. “So far, 718 FIRs have been filed. Of these, 55 cases have been registered under the Arms Act. A total of 60 people have been arrested so far,” the statement said.
