Delhi Riots : Arrest Made in Ankit Sharma Murder Case

New Delhi : Delhi Police has made a significant arrest in the murder of IB officer employee Ankit Sharma. Police has arrested a person who has five names in this case. The name of the accused is Salman alias Hasin alias Nanhe alias Momin alias Mulla. Police arrested him after the interception. The police claim that before killing Ankit Sharma, he was dragged towards Tahir Hussain’s house by putting a black cloth over him and after that he was killed. The accused has been arrested from Sundar Nagari. Earlier, in the murder case of Ankit Sharma, the police also arrested AAP Councilor Tahir Hussain. His name was in the FIR.

The family of IB officer Ankit Sharma (26) has accused Hussain of murder. Sharma went missing on 25 February. On 26 February, his body was found in a drainage near his house in the riot-affected Chand Bagh area of north-east Delhi. Sharma’s family claimed that the local AAP councilor and his associates were behind the murder. Hussain has denied the allegations.
