Dawood’s Bhendi Bazar property to be auctioned

The underworld don and wanted Dawood Ibrahim’s Masulla building located in Bhendi Bazar, Mumbai will be auctioned on August 9.

Ministry of Finance has invited a bid for one of three properties of Pakmodiya Street area. This decision has been taken by the Central Government. The auction will be held from 9 am to 10 am in the Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium on  August 9.

It has also been declared in newspapers in aution notification. The bid of the building will start from at least Rs 79 lakh 43 thousand rupees in this auction.

To join the auction, notice has been issued to pay Rs 25 lakh till 6 August. This auction is going to be quite interesting. The participants who will be involved in this auction, will be in discussion. Earlier, in 2015, there was a bid for the Zaika located in Delhi which was purchased for Rs 4 crore 28 lakhs.

Supreme Court had given orders:

It is notable that the Supreme Court had asked the Center on April 20 to take the charge of these properties. After that, steps have been taken for the auction of the property. The petition was filed in court by Dawood’s mother Amina B. Kaskar and sister Haseena Parkar against the order of seizing of property. Dismissing this, the court ordered to auction the property.
