Coronavirus India: 20 Deaths in India, Total Number of Victims 879

New Delhi : The number of coronavirus infected patients is increasing rapidly in India. Now people who have not traveled abroad are also coming under the grip of Coronavirus. The number of coronavirus-infected patients in the country has risen to 879. So far 20 people have lost their lives due to this virus. At the same time, 66 people have been cured. The Union Health Ministry, in its latest data, has reported the death of two more people. However, it is not yet known where these two deaths occurred. So far four people have died in Maharashtra, three in Gujarat, two in Karnataka and one each in Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Punjab, Delhi, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Maharashtra is the most affected state in India. With the confirmation of 12 people infected with the corona virus in Sangli district of the state, on Friday, the number of people infected with this virus has increased to 147 in the state.

Health officials said that 17 new infections have occurred in the state in one day. Four in Nagpur and one in Gondia have been confirmed to be infected with the virus. So far, a total of 24 people have confirmed the infection in Sangli district.

Health experts warn that people will have to strictly follow the nationwide lockdown to reduce the risk of corona virus as people are now at risk of infection at the community level if they do not follow the rules of staying indoors.

Doctors of the country’s major hospital groups have also warned that the lockdown will only reduce the rate of spread of the virus infection and that India should strengthen its health infrastructure to meet other challenges, including the Covid-19 investigation, in this period needed.
