Chandrapur News : Case filed against five including mother who got minor girl married in Bhadravati

Chandrapur : A case has been registered against five people including the mother who got her 15-year-old daughter married. This disturbing incident of Bhadravati has come to light after the complaint of the elder sister of the girl. Four people have been arrested in this case while the girl’s mother is absconding.

In this case, the police have arrested Savita Avasare (age 49), Basanti Tande (age 44, all P, resident of Bhangaram Ward), Vikram Anjirwar (Age 25) and Arvind Malviya (Age 27, both resident of Rajapur, Madhya Pradesh).

The elder sister of the girl, who lives in Vani in Yavatmal district, came to know about this. She came to her house in Bhadravati and inquired about it. Then she came to know that her minor sister has been married.

She complained about it to Bhadravati police station. Taking the incident seriously, SHO Sunil Singh Pawar constituted a special team.

Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Jagtap arrested the accused from Bhadravati.

The accused were produced in the court on Tuesday from where they have been sent to police custody. In this case, the search is on for the absconding mother of the victim girl.
