Pune : Pune Crime News | A gang of goons tried to kill a youth by hitting him in his head with a sickle due to an old enmity. He dodged the attack; however, they beat up his mother and broke the railing of a staircase at a housing society in Ambegaon.

 

Pournima Ramdas Mane (42), a resident of Ambegaon lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station in this regard. The police booked Prem Ankush Shinde, Sunny Somnath Singh, Karan Patekar, Ganesh Babu Ovhal alias Bhavdya, Bhimshya Suresh Chavan for attempt to murder.

 

The incident took place at around 11.30 pm on Saturday at the Harnai Complex, Ambegaon Budruk.

 

According to the police, the complainant’s son had quarreled with the accused earlier. The complainant was about to visit the Navale Hospital, along with her son, when the accused arrived on mobikes. Prem Shinde tried to attack Chandrakant Mane with the sharp weapon, which he dodged, which hit the name board of the society. The accused hurled empty liquor bottles and stone at Chandrakant Mane. The complainant and her daughter tried to intervene. Then the accused abused them verbally and broke the railing. They threatened to eliminate the complainant’s entire family. The complainant was injured in the incident.
