CAA  Violence : Fire Engines Set on Fire, Stone Pelting Resumed in Maujpur and Brahnpuri

New Delhi : Protests are taking place across the country over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). In different areas of the country, people are coming together and opposing it. Meanwhile, four people including a head constable were killed in the violence erupted in North East Delhi over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Citizenship Register (NRC). While at least 50 people were injured, including paramilitary and several personnel of the Delhi Police Force.
According to reports, the situation is tense even in the morning. Five motorcycles were set ablaze in the morning. A large number of police forces are deployed on the spot. Late in the morning, 45 calls to fire brigade were received in Mouzpur and surrounding areas, in which a firearm was pelted, while a fire engine was set on fire. Three firemen are said to be injured.
