Bus Carrying 45 Passengers From Delhi to Bihar Overturns On Agra-Lucknow Expressway, 30 Injured, 16 Critical

New Delhi : A passenger bus going from Delhi to Madhubani in Bihar overturned on the Agra Lucknow Expressway at midnight. There were 45 passengers in this passenger bus. 30 people have been injured in this accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at Saifai’s PGI.

The accident took place near the 132 km mark of the expressway. This area falls in Etawah district. According to SSP Etawah Akash Tomar, the bus was going from Delhi to Madhubani Bihar. Most of the passengers were sleeping as it was midnight. The bus was running at a high speed on the Agra Lucknow Expressway. Then the bus lost balance and overturned.

According to the police, there were 45 passengers in the bus, out of which 30 were injured, who were taken to Saifai hospital for treatment.They are undergoing treatment here. Doctors have discharged 14 injured after primary treatment. When the treatment of 16 passengers is still going on who are said to be critical.

The UP police is investigating the matter under which circumstances the bus overturned. Due to the high speed on the expressway, there are often reports of many accidents.
