BJP is making deliberate attempts to defame Shivaji Maharaj: Nana Patole

Mumbai : NpNews24 Online – Nana Patole | Many BJP leaders and Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari have made derogatory statements about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Thus, they have insulted and hurt sentiments of the people of Maharashtra. Commenting on the issue, MPCC president Nana Patole has targeted the BJP. Patole has said that there is a competition going on in the BJP to insult Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the idol of Maharashtra.

In the past month, four people from BJP have made insulting statements about Shivaji Maharaj. Nana Patole said that all this has not happened inadvertently. But it is a deliberate conspiracy by the BJP to defame Shivaji Maharaj. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari compared Nitin Gadkari with Shivaji Maharaj while praising Gadkari and grossly insulted Shivaji Maharaj by saying that he is now a hero of olden times. Later, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi made a shameless statement that Shivaji Maharaj apologised to Emperor Aurangzeb five times. Tourism Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha has compared Shivaji Maharaj’s escape from Agra to Eknath Shinde’s rebellion. Therefore, this is a big conspiracy and it has been deliberately done by BJP, said Nana Patole.

BJP feels nothing in insulting great men and defaming them. When such defamatory statements are made openly, action is expected to be taken by strongly condemning these statements. But the BJP has not done anything like that. Rather they are explaining it away. The BJP is an immoral party. These people are daring to defame Chtrapati Shivaji Maharaj and great men because of their rise to power. But the people of Maharashtra will never tolerate this. Patole expressed the belief that the public will not remain calm until these idiots of BJP are shown their place.
