Bharati Vidyapeeth Police arrest two persons in iron plates theft in Katraj area

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | The police busted a gang that stole iron plates used in construction within the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station area. Two persons have been arrested and two minors have been taken into custody. 150 iron plates worth Rs 1.10 lakh have been seized from their possession. (Pune Crime News)

 

The arrested have been identified as Dutta Dhanaji Patole (19) from Padmavati and Sahil Dutta Dhaware (19). A case has been registered in this regard. While investigating it, police officers Mitesh Chormole and Abhinay Choudhary, Ashish Gaikwad got a tip-off that the minors on the records of the police station in the area were stealing the plates with the help of some accomplices.

 

Based on the details received, the police first detained the minors. On in-depth inquiry, they got the names of Datta Patole and Sahil Dhaware. The police arrested both of them and seized iron plates worth Rs. 1.10 lakh.

 

The team of Sr PI Shrihari Bahirat, Police Inspector (Crime) Vijay Puranik, Assistant Inspector Amol Rasal, Sub-Inspector Dhiraj Gupta, police personnel Mitesh Chormole, Abhinay Chaudhary, Ashish Gaikwad, Sachin Sarpale, Avadhut Jamdade, Shailesh Sathe, Chetan Gore, Mangesh Pawar, Nilesh Dhamdere, Harshal Shinde, Abhijeet Jadhav, Nilesh Khairmode, Dhanaji Dhotre, Sachin Gade, Rahul Tambe arrested the accused under the guidance of DCP Smartana Patil and ACP Sushma Chavan.

 

Further investigation into the crime is underway.
