Banners of ‘Justice for Anvay Naik’; Shiv Sena demands action

Parol : Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami has been arrested by the Raigad police in the suicide of Alibag-based architect Anvay Naik. Arnab Goswami’s arrest in this case has provoked various reactions. While political opponents in Maharashtra are accusing this move as wrong use of power, there are reactions on social media that the police should take appropriate action against Arnab Goswami and his Republic TV for strangling the fourth pillar of democracy.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sainiks in Vasai have demanded action against Arnab Goswami after his arrest by Raigad police.

Arnab Goswami had started a series of allegations against the Maharashtra government and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Arnab Goswami had questioned the Mumbai police investigation into the suicide of famous Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and leveled various allegations against him. Arnab Goswami was also accused in the TRP scam. Raigad police have arrested Arnab Goswami in connection with the suicide of architect Anvay Naik.
