Bank Jobs | IBPS to fill 5830 vacancies this year, know the imp dates

npnews24 –  The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued notification for 5830 clerical posts this year. The recruitment process has begun with double the vacancies as compared to last year.

IBPS conducts examination preliminary and main exams for nationalized banks. The last date to submit an application for the clerical examination is August 1.

According to notification, the preliminary examination will be held on August 28 and 19 while the applicant who has cleared the examination can appear for the main examination on October 31.

Eligibility criteria

Age limit: 20-28 years of age.
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1993 and no later than 01.07.2001 (both dates inclusive).

Educational qualification: Graduates are eligible for the bank clerk posts. Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

Last year the IBPS had issued a notification to fill 1557 posts which were later updated to 2,557 across banks. Out of these, a total of 799 vacancies are from Maharashtra.
