Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kolhapur | Mandal officer, punter in ACB net for seeking bribe of Rs 5,000

Kolhapur :  NpNews24 Online –  Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kolhapur | A punter and a mandal official have been arrested by the ACB for seeking a bribe of Rs 5,000 for adding the name of person to the list of legal heirs of an agricultural land. An FIR has been registered against Mandal Officer Santosh Sangde and Punter Mubarak Usman Mujawar, a resident of Shahuwadi taluka at the Shahuwadi police station.

The complainant had submitted an application to Mandal Officer Santosh Sangde for adding his name as a legal heir of an agricultural land. Sangde sought a bribe of Rs 5,000 through Punter Mubarak Mujawar, an investigation revealed. An FIR has been filed against Sangde and Mujawar. Mujawar has been arrested and the accused Santosh Sangde will be arrested soon, said DySP of ACB Adinath Budhwant.
