Anand Dighe was killed, it was a sabotage, claims Sanjay Shirsath, demands probe into his death

Ch. Sambhaji Nagar: Shiv Sena (BT) spokesman Sanjay Shirsath has made a very serious allegation. He said that the late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe was killed. It was a sabotage. People in Thane district know this.

Shirsath said, “Why was the hospital, in which Dighe was being treated, closed?” He demanded a probe into Dighe’s death. Shirsath was addressing a press meet here on Saturday. He said, “Everybody in Thane alleges that it was a murder. Dighe was to be discharged. However, how could he die just before his discharge from the hospital?”

Shirsath demands an inquiry

He said, “We have been carrying doubts about Anand Dighe’s death in our minds for many years now. Therefore, I demand that the Chief Minister and the State Home Minister should order an inquiry into the issue. Many people also ask ‘why has the hospital been closed where Dighe was being treated?’ Many leaders passed away during treatment in hospitals but why did this happen here only?”
