Pune : NpNews24 Online – Amruta Fadnavis In Pune | Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of the leader of opposition, Devendra Fadnavis, spoke at a health camp organised in the red light area by the BJP women’s cell. “Prostitution should be accepted as a profession. In Germany, it is looked at as a respectable profession. I am in favour of legalising prostitution,’’ Amruta Fadnavis said.
“The balance in the society is being maintained due to prostitution. Prostitution exists right from many ages. You should be proud as you are maintaining the balance in the society. You are sincerely doing your work. Even though you may have come into this profession due to lack of money and poverty, you are doing laudable work,’’ Amruta Fadnavis said.
“The Supreme Court has also supported your profession. We are there to help and protect you. Even though you may have entered the profession due to any reason, you are an inseparable part of the society. If you face any adverse situation, you contact us and we will help you,’’ she said.
“You should think about what your daughters want to do. It is your responsibility to do hand holding in the initial stage. It is necessary to make arrangements for their education and important to pay attention to your health. Because of this profession, you may be susceptible to many diseases but you should not neglect it. I will organise a good trainer and organise a yoga session for you,” Amruta Fadnavis added.
