Many people are reacting to the case of ink attack on Chandrakant Patil. Meanwhile, a unique agitation was witnessed in Pune. Suspending the cops and detaining a journalist for questioning is a suppression of democracy and to agitate against this, Hemant Dhamdhere protested in a unique way by puring ink on himself.

Due to the insulting statement made about Mahatma Jotiba Phule, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, ink was thrown on the Minister of Higher and Technical Education of the state Chandrakant Patil. Therefore, 11 police officers were suspended for dereliction of duty, while one journalist was detained for making a video of the incident.

Hemant Dhamdhere, general secretary, Mahajanhit Pratishthan, threw ink on himself and launched a unique protest against the government and the administration, saying that it was abuse of power by speaking against great men and taking action against the police personnel. Also, by raising slogans in support of the great men, he poured ink on himself.

If the movement takes a different path, the police take action under the pressure of the authorities. Therefore, I am protesting this incident in a unique way by pouring ink on my own body, Dhamdere said.

Hemant Dhamdhere’s unique protest has become a topic of discussion.
