Action of detainment for one year taken against notorious criminal from Kondhwa
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | An action of detainment for one year has been taken against a notorious criminal for creating terror under the jurisdiction of Kondhwa police station under the MPDA Act. Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta has taken action against 62 persons under the MPDA Act in the last one year. (Pune Crime)
The criminal has been identified as Arbaz alias Fugga Samir Shaikh (24), a resident of Kuba Masjid, Mithanagar, Nawazish Park, Kondhwa Khurd. Shaikh has been detained in Nagpur jail for one year.
Arbaz alias Fugga Shaikh is a criminal on police record and he has committed many offences like attempt to murder, causing serious injuries, possessing sharp weapons like sickle, knife and wooden log with his aides. Six serious offences are registered against him in five years.
Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta gave the order of his detainment for one year after examining the proposal and checking the submitted documents. The action was taken by Senior PI Sardar Patil of Kondhwa police station and Senior PI Vaishali Chandgude.
Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta has taken action of detention against 62 people so far. The police have said that they will continue to act against notorious criminals.
Action is being taken against criminals under MCOCA, externment and detainment.
