ACB Trap News | Police Havaldar caught red-handed accepting bribe of ₹10,000

DHULE : ACB Trap News | The ACB has arrested a person red handed for accepting a bribe of ₹10,000 after demanding a bribe of ₹20,000. An FIR has been registered against him at Chandwad police station in Nashik district and he has been arrested.

The accused has been identified as Police Havaldar Hari Janu Palvi (Buckle number 429, posted at Chandwad police station in Nashik district). The complainant is a resident of Mouje Pimpalgaon Dabhdi (Chandwad taluka). The complainant and his brother have land at Mouje Raipur (Chandwad taluka). There was a dispute between them over a common road and it led to fighting and registration of FIRs against them at Chandwad police station.

Police Havaldar Hari Janu Palvi had demanded ₹20, 000 from the complainant to add more sections of the IPC in the FIR registered against his brother and arrest him. The complainant had informed the ACB on the phone.

The complaint was verified. A trap was laid and Police Havaldar Hari Janu Palvi accepted a bribe of ₹10,000 at a tea shop. He was arrested red-handed.
