A police constable demands CCTV footage using DySP’s (Railways) name

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime | It has been revealed that a police constable has forged a letter in the name of Deputy Superintendent of Railways by making officer’s fake signatures and using his stamps. (Pune Crime)

DySP Chandrakant Bhosale has lodged a complaint at the Khadki Police Station in this matter. Accordingly, the police have filed an FIR against the constable at the Lohmarg headquarters, S Sonwane. The incident happened at 5:30 pm on November 7, 2022.

According to the police, Lohmarg police headquarters is situated at Khadki. Sonwane works as a peon in the office of DySP Chandrakant Bhosale. He entered the office of the complainant without permission and opened the lock. He forged the officer’s letterhead by using the round stamp in the name of ‘Chandrakant Bhosale and Superintendent of Police Lohmarg Pune’ and the forged signature of the complainant for his own benefit.

Then, he sent it to the manager of Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital.

In the letter, he demanded the CCTV footage from the hospital. A case has been registered. Only after inquiring with Sonawane, we will come to know why he asked for this CCTV footage, the police said. API Walkoli is investigating.
