PUNE : NpNews24 Online – DG Insignia Award Maharashtra Pune Police | The President’s Police Medal or Police Medal is awarded to police officials of Maharashtra police for their excellent performance and officials and policemen who have won bravery award, are honoured with DG Insignia and recommendation letter. This year, 800 police officers and policemen are going to be presented with DGP Insignia and recommendation letters. This year, Addl DGP Sanjaykumar Varma, Addl police commissioner Rajiv Jain, DIG Abhishek Bhagwan Trimukhe, DIG Hiremath Sudhir Kalyya (on central deputation), former DCP of Pune and presently, SRPF Group 2 Pune Commandant Namrata Patil (Chavan) and DCP Dr Kakasaheb Adinath Dole of Pimpri Chinchwad police will be awarded.
