8 months pregnant woman assaulted, house ransacked

PUNE NP NEWS NETWORK- An eight month pregnant woman, her sister and mother were brutally assaulted with iron rods and their ransacked by three persons including her husband. The incident took place around 1 am on November 3.

Suman Savleram Gabale (38) of Kesnand near Wagholi has lodged an FIR against her son-in-law Akash Ganpat Mane of Katraj, and his friends Nishikant alias Blak Nanaware of Tadiwala Road, and Appa Ghadge of Wagholi and three others.

According to police, Suman’s daughter Shilpa is married to Akash who works as driver. He had been staying with them But recently went to live at his Katraj house. The complainant and her daughters Shilpa who is eight months old pregnant and Pournima, were sleeping when the accused persons arrived outside and damaged their motorcycle. After that they broke into their house brutally assaulted them and fled. The women were taken to a private hospital and later the police complaint was registered.
