Pune: The State Government has transferred seven IAS officers. Zilla Parishad, Solapur, CEO Manisha Awhale has been shifted to Pune and given a major responsibility.

The General Administration Department (GAD) has written a transfer letter to her asking her to assume charge of Smart City in Pune immediately and to hand over her current charge to Kuladeep Jangam.

The other transferred officers include Abhinav Goel, Vinayak Mahamuni, Satishkumar Khadke, Kuladeep Jangam, Saumya Chandak and Pradipkumar Dange.

The transfer letter sent to Awhale stated, “The Government has transferred you. You have been appointed to the vacant post of the Chief Executive Officer of Smart City Pune. Kuladeep Jangam, IAS, will replace you. Therefore, you have been instructed to hand over your current charge to Jangam (IAS) and assume the new office immediately.” The letter has been undersigned by Chief Secretary (GAD) V Radha.

Abhinav Goel has been appointed as the District Collector in Hingoli. Since these officers have been shifted ahead of the assembly election, bureaucratic circles are abuzz with talks of their transfers.

Vinayak Mahamuni has been posted as the CEO, Zilla Parishad, Nagpur. Satishkumar Khadke has been appointed as the CEO, Zilla Parishad, Beed. Saumya Chandak has been shifted as the CEO, Smart City, Nagpur. Pradipkumar Dange has been appointed as the Commissioner, Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Navi Mumbai.
