5-year old drowns in BHABHA Atomic Research Complex swimming pool

MUMBAI- NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- In a tragic incident, a 5-year-old died after drowning in a swimming pool. After the incident, the deceased’s father has demanded investigation against the swimming coach.

The incident took place in Mumbai based BHABHA Atomic Research Complex’s swimming pool.

The name of the deceased is Anushka. Her father said in this regard that there were no arrangements of security in the pool due to which his daughter drowned in water and died.

The deceased’s father has demanded action against the coach along with lifeguard and pool authorities and that a complaint should be lodged against them.  The police have filed a case of accidental death.

Niraj said the complex has two swimming pool. And the depth of children’s swimming pool is 2 feet and the pool for adults is 4.5 feet deep. His both the daughters went to the swimming pool of adults because the depth of the pool is 3 feet.

There was no rope along with Anushka, but the coach did not listen. The people present there also wanted to inform the coach and lifeguard but both remained unaware of it.

When the people tried to inform again, after that the child was taken out of the pool and admitted to hospital. The doctors could not save her life as it might have been too late and declared her dead.

There is an atmosphere of tragedy in the deceased’s house as they are yet not able to bear the loss of her one and only beloved girl.

On the other hand, the police have filed a case of accidental death and are still probing into the case further. The police are yet to ascertain whose fault was that whether the parent’s ignorance or the fault of the coach and lifeguard.
