Mumbai : Earlier, where foreign platforms like Amazon and Netflix were dominating in the country, now, Indian platforms are giving them a tough competition in terms of original content. Last week, Salman Khan’s film Radhe was released on Zee5. The film became the most viewed movie with 4.2 million views. According to the figures, only in India the film earned more than 108 crores rupees on the first day. This is the biggest opening of any film of Salman Khan ever in the country.

Now this week, many OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus Hotstar are bringing much awaited movies, shows and series for their viewers. So let us tell you what is going to be released this week.

Sardar Ka Grandson – 18 May
On May 18, Arjun Kapoor, Neena Gupta, Rakul Preet Singh, John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer film ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ will be released. Film ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ will be released on Netflix. The film is directed by Kashvi Nair. The director of the film, Kashvi Nair, has tried to show the story of love between grandparents and grandchildren.

Runway Lugai – 18 May
‘Runaway Lugai’ will release on May 18 on MX Player. It stars Navneet Kasturia, Ruhi Singh, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Arya Babbar and Pankaj Jha in the lead roles. It has been directed by Avinash Das. In it, actor Naveen Kasturia is playing the role of a man named Rajni. The story of the film is Rajni’s wife Bulbul runs away on the very first day of marriage.

Who Killed Sara Season 2 – 19 May
‘Who Killed Sara’ Season 2 is releasing on Netflix on May 19. Though this thriller film is in Spanish, you can watch it with subtitles. Its first season aired in March, which was well received by the audience.

Rang De – 21 May
‘Rang De’ is a romantic comedy film. The story of the film is about childhood friends falling in love. Nitin and Keerthy Suresh have played the lead characters. The film is releasing on May 21 on Zee5.
